Playing with Lights

I can’t remember the last time Ive been outside for more than an hour thanks to our ongoing lockdown. When numbers finally started to trend down in my area and things were a little safer, the first thing I wanted to do was take my camera outside for some fresh air. I am in a blessed position, in that I have friends that wouldn’t hesitate to follow any and all safety precautions to be a part of all of my newest experimental shoots. This is the first of my new personal projects to learn new techniques and play with new props for portraiture. The first was the effortlessly beautiful Erica Garraffa (best known as the vintage, pin-up victory roll beauty in my photo roll.) It’s been many years since we have been able to get together for a shoot and this was easy magic.
